The volovants are suitable as appetizers in a party or meeting and for starting a meal. Imported from the French cuisine they became common also in the northern Italian cuisine. For this reason in our recipes you can find recipes with a typical Mediterranean taste. In our recipes we have written both the original French name vol-au-vent and the more common volovant.
